Give a Day...Get A Day!

Ah, it's a good day so far :) I found out that Disney is hosting a great campaign called Give a Day, Get a Day . Search, and register to volunteer at one of the participating organizations they have listed on this page and you're on your way to helping a great cause in your community and being rewarded with a one day ticket to one of the Disney parks! ::Swoooon::

I was even more excited to find out that the organization I will be volunteering for in March is literally next door to my house! It is a day care/housing facility that assists low income women and their children with affordable day care and housing while transitioning to their permanent homes. My volunteer activity will involve spending a few hours in the evening reading books, and interacting with the kiddies! How sweet is that?
