Vintage Pic of the Day

Happy Friday dahling readers! I hope you are enjoying your Friday night wherever you are, and that you are enjoying your weekend thus far.  We are staying in for the evening (as we usually do) listening the sound of the rain, sipping on a glass of Riesling, and enjoying a quiet evening since Goobie went to dreamland quite early tonight...the mister and I are very grateful for night's like these :)

My apologies for the latent vintage pic of the day post tonight, but I hope you enjoy this adorable picture of Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert from the hitchhiking scene in Frank Capra's award winning screwball comedy, It Happened One Night (1934), along with a video from one of the bus scenes where everyone sings along to "The Man on the Flying Trapeze"

I had the opportunity to watch this fantastic movie this last Wednesday night during my 1930s/1940s Film class and I absolutely loved it! If you have not seen this wonderful film, I highly recommend you watch it, as I'm sure you will truly enjoy it.
